Berks Country Fest “Got Talent” Showcase presented by Supportive Concepts for Families
June 29 @ 6:30 pm - 10:30 pm
Ticket Price: $8.00
The “Got Talent” Showcase puts a spotlight on local and regional talent with an evening of entertainment that allows local and regional individuals an opportunity to perform in front of a live audience. Berks Country Fest and Berks Country, a weekly magazine in the Reading Eagle, are producing the event to highlight the very talented people right here in the Berks and surrounding regions. The Who knows, maybe performing at the Berks Country Fest “Got Talent” Showcase could be just the thing to launch someone’s career as an entertainer!
This Opry-style, fast-paced showcase of talent will take place at the Oley Fair Centre, which is an indoor and air conditioned hall. Each musician will perform for about 15 minutes. At the same time, a portion of the ticket sales proceeds will go to benefit our “Ukes in the Classroom” program through which we work with the non-profit Reading Musical Foundation, Meadowood Music and various regional school districts to buy ukuleles and award them to local music classes. Last year we were able to buy and give more than 40 ukuleles to elementary school music students! Show-goers receive a great night out while supporting countless young music students!
